THE GREAT DISASTER IN THE ATLANTIC.
The following are a few particulars taken from American papers with regard to the great dinator which occurred in the Atlantis by the collision of the steanuts Geiser and Thingalia-

From Captain Lamb's statement of the disaster it would appoor that the fault lay with those on board the Geiser, who put her to starboard, instead of to port. The Deiser's officer who was on watch at the time of the collision was among those who perished. Captain Lab himself does not express an opinion on the cause of the
