Tus morning at the Polien Court, Fung Afuk was charged at the instance of Loung Achak, a carpenter at Hung-hon, with hav ing, along with two others not in

custody, robbed him of money and clothing on the road between You-ma-ti and Hung-ham, The complainant said he was a hawker in Haag-ham. On the 3rd or 4th fost at 6.30 p.m. as he was on his way from Yau a-ti and had reached the joss-house on the cold, prisoner, along with two others, attacked him and knocked him down, stripped hins naked and then ran of Nothing moro was seen of the men till laat night, when P.C. 07 saw the prisoner and another man following a respectable man. The Constable arrested Fang Afak and found a sword up his sleeve. The pristner was subsequently identified by the hawker, who also recognised the sword. Mr Mit chell-Innes ordered the accused to pay a fine of$100 or go to prison for six months, with hard labour, (the first and last fortnight being in solitary confinement) and with six hours' stocks at Hong-ham.
