DIRECTIONS AND Explanations,

Entering the Channel from scaward, Red buoys will be found on the Starboard side of the

Clunel, and must be left on the Starboard hand by vessels passing in. Entering the Channel frun: avaward, Hock buoys will be found on the Post side of the

Chamel, and must be left on the Port hand by vesspla paasing in.

"Baugs painted in Red and Black Horizontal Baru will be found in the fairway, and should

be p close-to.

Buoys painted in Red and Black Vertical Stripes will be found on the ends of spits, and the autor and immer extremes of banks, shoals, or extensive reala, where there is a navigable channel on either side.

Buoys painted in Ret and Black Chequers will be used to mark rocks in the oğan sea, also to mark obstructions ມ small extent having channels on either side of them. When used for the latter paupe, they will be placed to soward of the danger.
