widely expressed regret at the dis continuance of Notes & Queries on China and Japan, has induced the publish- ers of this journal to issue a publication similar in object and style, but slightly modified in certain details.
THE CHINA REVIEW, or Noter and Querits on the Far East, is issued at in- tervals of two months, each number con
occasionally taining about 60 octavo pages, Ellustrated with lithographs, photographs,
duta, &c., should the papers published |
and the circulation justify, anal
extra matter.
The subscription is fixed at $6.50 postage psid, per annum, payable by non-residents
in Hongkong half-yearly in advance.
