On the 29th April, at the Swedish Con. sulate Yokohama, and afterwards at the residence of the bride's father, by the RIDDERBJELKE, Baron, of Stockholm, Sweden, to MARY FRANCES,

Dowager (commonly known as the Fastarn Empress) reached Canton City un Friday last. All officers all dress in white for 27 days, and in blue for 27 months thera after. No gun or fire-crackers will be fired for the first named period; and special mourning for 3 days only is ordered for the military officials. For 100 days, dating from the day of the Empress' death (8th April) no shaving will be permitted, official or unofficial. By officials marriage must be abjured for 100 days; for non-officiala marriages are prohibited for one month. No musical performances will be permitted during one year amongst the officials; while the populace are doomed to a dearth of tom-toms and drums for 100 days. The funeral, it is announced, was to take place on the 13th May. On Saturday, the Chi. nese gan-vessels Peng-chow-has and Ling. Feng half-masted their flags.
