Lordship had a kind and happy word to say to cach of the recipients. The Governor told several of the principat prize-takers that he would supplement the prizes they had gained by a small. present of a book from himself.
When the distribution of the prizes for arithmetic and spelling came round, the Bishop took occasion to remark that Dr Eitel had, after examining the school, said that the spelling and arithmetic were here better than in any other school in the Colony..
