THE widely-expressed regret at the dis- continuance of Notes & urzica on China and Japan, bas induced the publish ere of this journal to issue a publication similar in object and style, but slightly modified in certain details.
vr Notes anred THE CHINA REVIEW, Queries on the F East, is issued at in- tervals of two withtha, each number ON- taining about 6 octavo pages, occasionally illustrated with lithographs, photograph woodcuts, &c., should the papers published demand, and the circulation justify, snch extra matier.
