In accordance with Instructions contained in the "olonial Secretas y'a letter of 27th March, the effect of which we have stated, Dr. Eitel forwards, April 25th, a draft of the now Grant-in-aid Scheme revised by himself on the basis of the Secretary of State's despatch No. 15 of 6th February 1879. The amended o›de is now given in the Gazette. As regards "Building Grants," the following general regulation, drafted by the Inspector of Schools, in accordance with the Secretary of State's instructions, is also given. Dr. Eitel explains that it is simply an abridgement of the regulations introduced iu Englant under the Cuda (187) of Minutes of the Education Department.
