The German barque Ta-lee, Captain Hoff- mau, arrived yesterday from Whampoa, having experienced the typhoon encoun tered by the Genkai Maru, Poutah, Appin, and Hideyoshi Maru, the reports of which we gave yesterday. The Tales encountered the gale during the night of the 30th and Slat of July, when off Kwaishan Island, and for the safely of the vessel the topmaats were cut away. The lowest reading of the barometer was 28:80, which was at 2-ame on the 31st.
THE Japan Gazette hears with regret that the Mitsu Bishi 8. 8. Co, have lost one of their sailing vessels, the Nagasaki Maru. This barque, formerly the Alma, was about 400 tons measurement, and was, the Gazette- understands, in command of a Japanese at the time of her going ashore.
