A meeting of the creditors was held at Hamburg on the 23rd, and the balance sheat to December, 1877, was furnished. The solicitor stated that Mr Pastau was in China, and that he had been authorised to offer payment in fall in one year. A long and rather excited debate followed; the solicitor of one of the creditors declared his intention not to have the estate wound up voluntarily, as his citent has suffered great losses by negligence of the firm, and will have the members prosecuted by law. The majority of those present rescived upon voluntary liquidation, and intended to no- minate administrators, but none of the gentlemen present at the menting were adjourned for a week.
