PROFESSOR Marco Vitz's performance at the Garrison Theatre last evening passed off tolerably well, although, to judge by the aparse audience, it was not a success from a monetary point of view. The Professor appears to have improved since his last appearance. His Guinea-pig trick was not Bo successful as it might have been, owing to the bottle in which the miserable little object was confined being too transparent, and the illusion boing thus destroyed. The Cabinet trick was very well done, and the Professor promises to explain it on his ap. pearance next Saturday, A duet, by a lady and gentleman amateur, brought the performanes to a close.
