THE danger to fire which houses at the Gap are exposed to was unfortunately illustrated with a rapidity which was almost appalling early yesterday morning. About half-past four o'clock the matched bungalow occupied by the Hon. C. B. There is no exaggeration, on the other hand, in saying that the last soene of the piece was admirably done-Satanella, Count Rupert, and Lello all distinguishing themselves greatly; and, as was generally romarked, it was a genuine piece of admir. able operatic representation. The next piece announced, as in preparation, is " The Daughter of the Regiment."
