Tang Achol, a milkman, was charged by Inspector Batten, with stealing certain articles of clothing from a dwelling house at No. 8. Yoong Fang Lan, Ship Street, with resisting his lawful apprehension, and Wanchi, last night. He was further charged cutting and wounding F. C. No. 620 (Mustagh Bingh), by stabbing him in the neck with a fan dagger.

The Inspector asked for a remand, as the wounded man is in Hospital and unable to attend the Court. The osse was accord- ingly remanded until the 3rd September.
