1.-"BENJAMIN AYMAR" ROCK, This Rock, on which the American barque "BENJAMIN AYMAR" struck in January, 1878, consists of a small ROCKY PAN with B'feet of water on its shoalest part at L. W. Springs. A depth of from 9 to 10 fathoms was obtained in every direc-

tion at a distance of 1 cables from it, the

bottom being mad. Changehi Pesk bears N. 65 E. from the

....Rock.

Middle Dog Lighthouse bears 8. 37 E.

from the Rook.

Sos Dog Summit bears 8. 69° E. from the

7. B CLEARING MARKS. The Southern ex- treme of Chingobi Island in line with the Northern extreme of Matson Island leads clear to the Southward, and Crab Island should not be brought to bear Eastward of North to clear to the Eastward,

2...." NORMAN COURT" BOOK. This Rock consists of Two PINNACLES lying in a North and South direction and distant 11 cables from each other. The. SOUTHERN One is distant 4 cables from Flat Rock, and has 9 foot of water over it at L. W. Springs, with deep water rocky ledge with close around, but

6 fathoms over it extends 1 cables to the S.E. by S. of it. The NORTHERN ONE has only 6 feet over it at L. W. Springs. There is also & ROCKY PATCH, with 2+ fathoms over it, to the 8.8.E.4 E. of Flat Rock, and distant from it 24 cables. Flat Rock Summit bears N. 7° 10′ W. from

the S. Pinnacle.

Changchi Peak bears N. 16 E. from the S. Matson Peak bears N. 89° W, from the B.

Pinnacle,

Sea Dog Summit bears 8. 6° W. from the
