The CHAIRMAN said: It now again becomes my pleasing duty, for the eighth time, to present to you the annual report of the Company's business, which I presume you will, de usual, allow me to consider as road. In presenting to you the report and accounte very little comment on my part is, I think, necessary, but I have to congratulate the shareholders on the continued success of the Company's operations. We have experi enced no loss during the last year, while the amount of premia collected is in excess of that of the previous twelvemonths, notwithstanding the opposition of a native company that has started into existence since I last had the pleasure of meating you.
