Chow Asing, a barber, was again brought up charged with stealing a gold watch and chain from the person of one Isaac Abraham on the 7th inst. The complainant stated that on that day he was in the auction room of Messra Lane, Crawford & Co.

During the progress of the auction, he dis covered that a gold watch and chain, fas tened by a hook to the button hole of his waist-cont, had been stolen. He made, a report at the Police Station, and subse- quently he was sent for there and saw his custody, but he did not know him.
