THE IRON SCREW STEAMER "ALBAY"
above Steamer was Built in Glas- gow in 1872 by Messrs DOBBIE & Co., under special survey of LLOYDS, and fler MACHINERY AND BOILER were made by MosBTS JAMEH HOWDEN & Co., under special inspection. She was con structed to carry a large Cargo on a light draft of water and is well adapted for the Philippine, China, or Japan trade. She underwent general Repairs in 1875, when New SAILS, RIGGING, and a complete outfit were supplied by the HoxoKONG AND WHAMPOA DOCK COMPANY, and in March of the present year her Engines and Boiler were thoroughly overhauled.
