1AE above Steamer was Built in Glas gow in 1872 by Mesara. DosBLE & Co., ander special survey of LLOYDS', and Her MACHINERY AND BOILER were made by Messrs JAMES HOWDEN & Co., under special inspection. She was COR- structed to carry a large Cargo on a light draft of water and is well adapted for the Philippine, China, er Japan trade. She underwent general Repairs in 1875, when Now SAILS, RIGGING, and a complete outfit were supplied by the HONGKONG AND WHANPOA DOCK COMPANY, and in March of the present year her Engines and Boiler were thoroughly overhauled.
