gow in 1872 by Metre DoBBIE & bore Steamer was Bullt in Glas- Co., under special survey of Loros', and Her MACHINERY AND BOILER were made by Messre JAMES HOWDEN & Co, under spécial inspection. She was con structed to carry a large Cargo on a light 801 draft of water and is well adapted for the Philippine, China, or Japan trade. She underwent general Repairs in 1875, when New SAILS, RIGGING, and a complete outfit were supplied by the HONGKONG AND WHAMPOA DOCK COMPANY, and in March of the present year her Engines and Boiler were thoroughly overhauled.
