Vessels near the Hongkong shore are marked ., near the Kowloong shore k., and those in the body of tha Shipping or midway between each shore are marked c., in conjunction with tho figures denoting the sections.

Through Passenger Tickets and Bills of Lading are issued for transportation to Yokohama and other Japan Porta, to San Franolsco, to ports in Mexico, Central and South America, and to New York and Europe VIA OVERLAND RAILWAYS.
A Steamer of the Miten Blahi B. S. Com- pany will leave Shanghai, via the Inland Sex Ports, about same date, and make close connection at Yokohama,
