Co., under special survey of LLOYDS', and Her MACHINERY AND BOILER were made by Monats JAMES HOWDEN & Co., under special inspection. She was con stracted to carry a large Cargo on a light draft of water and is well adapted for the Philippine, Chlua, or Japan trade. She underwent general Repairs in 1876, when New SAILS, RIGGING, and a complete outfit were supplied by the Hongkong and WHAMPOA DUCK COMPANY, and in March of the present year her Engines and Boiler were thoroughly overbanled.

DIMENSIONS.-Length between Perpendi- culars, 170 feet. Beam, 28 feet 3 inches, Depth of Hold from Ceiling to Blain Deck, 9 feet 5 inches, Height from Main Desk ta under side of Awning Deck, 7 feet £1 inches.
