OTION is hereby given that the Light on the High or West Oaksen Inland was exhibited for the first time at sunset on the 3rd December, 1875.
The illuminating apparatus is revolving Dioptria, of the First Order, showing white flashes at one minute intervals.
The Light la elevated 280 feet above the level of the sea, and, in clear weather, it aliould be Tuble from a distance of 24 nautical miles.
The Tower is round, of stone, 25 feet bigh, with a total height from its base fo he lantern vans of 64 feet.

The Light is elevateni 130 feet above the level of the sea, and, in clear weather, the white light should be visible at a distance of 16 nautical miles, and the red light at 8. The Tower is ectagonal, of stone and brick, 20 feet high, with a total height from its base to the lantern yane of 39 feet.
The Tower is painted in alternate red and white verticalstripes, and the dwellings white.
