At Hongkong the Company have the only Dook in the harbour, Granite Dook, solidly built, and of dimensions to admit Ships of 350 feet in
length, and drawing 22 feet of water,
Attached to it there are Shipwrights, Blacksmiths, Boiler-makers and Machinery
and works,
everything - necessary for the Repairs of Sailing Vessels or Steamers.
The Company have also opened a Ship- yard by the side of the Hongkong Dock, and are ready to contract for the construe tion of Steamers or Sailing Vessels of any “
size.
At Whampoa the Company will take Ships at reduced rates.

New Jetty is in course of completion, alongside of which Vessels drawing 18 feet of water can lay at any states of the tide attached to the Jetty are Shears capable of lifting Fifty Tune.
