Passed the meridian of the Cape of Good Hope on 23rd Feb., in lat. 88.45 8.; made Bt. Paul's island on 16th March, and Jara head on 2nd April, Passed Anjer on Srd April. Had steady squalls from W. and much rain, so that had no communication st Anjer. Thence had light wind and calus and much rain till Paracel, after passing which had variable wind and wan- ther till arrival in Hongkong on 11th May. 134 days but
