The R. Gun-boat: Grasshopper, front Singapore and Wha Wang, reports H.M. Gun boat Weasel, arrived at Ringapore on 11th August H.M.H., Adventure was at Singapore on same date. Heavy swell from the N.W, after leaving Singapore; wind moderate

The British brig Lass of Gawler, from Sydney, reports the best part of passage had bad weather, latter part light winds and squilly, with niuch rain. Crossed the Line on July 11th, in long. 156.54 I., 99 legs out; in company with ship Jos Nicholson, from Newcastle botted to Shang hi, in lat 13.12. 8. long. 170 17 2. On July 23rd, at 11 a.m., passing Namourick Jeland, Caroline Group, saw a number of ades coming off to the FORAUT, some under ail and others paddling; prepared the fire case of their being hostile, but on coming alongside they appeared to o be quite peaceable, having nu weapons whatever with them. They brought off a few Shells and Cocoa Nuts, likewise some fish books made from Tortoise and other shells, their own manufacture, for which the crew bar terad with Tobaden and Kuives.
