The Acting Attorney General was present by special summons.
The minutes of Council held on the 17th October were read and approved.
Read a second time the Ordinance "for the Licensing and Regulation of "Chinese Passage Brokers." The Clauses were considered Seriatim, amended and passed and it was unanimously Resolved, that the ordinance as amended be published for general information in the Government Gazette under the following. Title "An Ordinance "for Licensing and Regulating Emigration Passage Brokers."
Council adjourned until Friday the 23rd October, at 2 P.M.
