The Council met today by special summons.
The Minutes of the last Council were read and approved.
The Jury last for 1857 as revised at the last meeting was laid on the table and amended. The amendments consisted in the addition of several names to the list, and the erasure therefrom of such as represented, parties actually absent from the Colony or who had not attained majority. By the first erasure the number of special jurors as marked off at the last meeting was reduced from 49 to 46. It was, however, unanimously Resolved to increase the number to 47, by adding to such special Jury the name of Mr. Andrew Scott Dixson.
The Jury List, as revised and amended to be published in today's Government Gazette.
The Council then adjourned till Thursday next, the 5th Instant, as agreed upon at the Meeting of the 24th ultimo.
