The Council met today by special summons.

The Jury List for the year 1855 was laid on the Table and revised. Thirty of the persons therein named being designated as Special Jurors. As to Mr. Block's objection to serve as a Juror, on the plea of holding the office of Vice-Consul for Denmark, the Council decided that he was not entitled to exemption, and that his name must remain on the List.
Ordered, that the Jurors' List as revised, be published in the next Government Gazette.
It appearing that Doubts might arise as to the legality of the Jury List before the Council, in consequence of the same not having been prepared and forwarded within the time directed by Ordinance No. 4 of 1851, an Ordinance to remove such doubts and to declare the List valid, was then drafted and send a first time.
