The Council met today pursuant to adjournment.
The Minutes of the last Council were read and approved.
The Seamen's ordinance was again laid before the Council, but no written Communication having been received from Mr. Authon as expected, it was Resolved that the attendance of that gentleman should be requested at the next meeting of Council, to state specifically any objections he might raise to the amended Draft ordinance; and such meeting was accordingly fixed for Saturday the 6th Instant, at one o'clock, P.M.
