The Minutes of the last Council were read and approved.
The Seamen's ordinance was considered, each clause separately, and several alterations and amendments were agreed to, amongst them a proposition of the Honorable the Acting Chief Justice to extend to British Seamen the Provisions of ordinance No. 4 of 1850, entitled "An ordinance to prevent the Desertion of Seamen belonging to Foreign Ships and Vessels."
The ordinance having been discussed and arranged as far as the VIII clause, the Council adjourned.
