The Minutes of the last Council were read and approved.
Read a second time and passed, the ordinance entitled "An ordinance to repeal Section II "of ordinance No. 2 of 1847 in so far as the said section gives unto Her Majesty's "Consuls and Nice Consuls exclusive Jurisdiction in certain cases, and to amend the "administration of Justice in Consular Courts," being No. 3 of 1852, which was ordered to be printed and published in the Government Gazette.
The proposed Marriage ordinance underwent certain alterations and the Council adjourned.
