The minutes of the last Council were read and approved.
The Harbor Masters report on the [Tehkin] of the Government Ghaut Serang was handed to the Honble the Attorney General with a view to his framing an Ordinance on the subject.
Read a first time Ordinance No. 10 of 1845 entitled "An Ordinance for the naturalization of Aliens within the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies," and ordered to be sent round to members.
