In addition to local training, Government provides financial assistance to certain selected persons to take special courses of study abroad and permits certain other officers who so desire to proceed abroad for courses of study at their own expense. This is augmented by the Sino-British Fellowship Trust Funds administered by the British Council and also by the grant of fellowships and scholarships from the World Health Organization.
