T. Agglutination tests.--One thousand five hundred and fifty-two sera were examined for the presence of agglutioine against various organisms. In a small percentage of the positive Weil-Felix reactions the suspension was OXK.

9. Sputum.-Eleven thousand three hundred and fifty-four sputa were examined for the presence of the tubercle bacillus. In addition, sixteen specimens were cultured and one inoculated into a test animal.

8. Facces-One thousand and eighty-eight stools were cultured for pathogenic organisms. The cholera canes were found on a ship arriving from the South, and do not represent a local outbreak,

10. Urine-Four hundred and thirty cultural examinations were made for pathogenic organisms; of these 11 were for M. tuberculosis, with 1 positive result.

11. Urethral and cervical simedra.—Two thousand four bundred and fifty-three urethral and cervics] AMPSTY were examined for the presence of the gonocoreus.

12. Nasal sineurs, etc. for M. leprac.-Three hundred and thirteen examinations were made for the detection of this organism. Forty-saven positive results were recorded.

13. Throat seada.-One thousand four hundred and fifty-five throat swabs were cultured for C. diphtherine.
