(A) Government
A single
(1) Club House for staff, Castle Peak Hospital
storey building comprising a large hall for group activities, a small lounge, a dining room with kitchen and verandah, and a central courtyard. Completed in May 1977.
(2) Improvement of Fire Fighting Installations, Queen Mary Hospital Improvement works include the replacement of and addition of fire fighting equipment, and other structural alterations to provide adequate fire protection and fire escape in the hospital. Completed in March 1978.
(3) Additional Staff Quarters, Queen Mary Hospital,
Phase I to provide a dormitory block of 89 Type M2 unite complete with communal sitting and dining facilities for house officers and medical officers. Completed in January 1978.
PROJECTS UNDER CONSTRUCTION
(A) Government
(1) Tang Shiu Kin Hospital, Improvements to the Operating Theatre Improvements to existing facility to permit
a wider range of surgical operations to be undertaken at the hospital. Expected completion date is September 1978.
(2) Dental Therapist Training School and Clinic
9-storey complex to provide a training school for dental therapists, a school children's dental clinic, a dental clinic, and new accommodation for reprovisioning of the head office of the Government Dental Service. Expected completion date is October 1978.
(3) Additional Staff Quarters, Queen Mary Hospital,
Phase II to provide a 20-storey block of 80 unite, Type I and Type II, of married quarters for medical and clinical lecturers. Expected completion date is September 1979.
