EDWARD W. BATES late of the firm Walcott Bates and Co., Shanghai, China. Born in New York, U.S.A., July 18th, 1818. Died at Macao, September, 1850. Aged 32 years.

OLIVER MITCHELL, Seaman, a native of the state of Vermont, U.S.A., died at the U.S. Naval Hospital, Macao, on 23rd July, 1850. Aged 43 years.

HENRY JONES, a native of Denmark, seaman, U.S. ship "Marion", died at Macao, March 13th, 1851. Aged 37 years.

In memory of CHARLES WOOD BARTON, B.A., died September 2nd, 1851.

WILLIAM THOMAS, Commander of the ship "Futty", died at Macao, September, 1851. Aged 33 years.

JOSEPH JAMES WEST, late seaman on board of U.S. ship "Marion", died at Macao, 12 Nov., 1851.

LIEUTENANT BENJAMIN S. GAUNT, U.S. Navy, late of the U.S. ship "Marion", died 14th March, 1852.

DANIEL CUSHAM, Quarter-Master, U.S. Steam Frigate "Susquehanna". Died 12th May, 1852. Aged 38 years.

THOMAS A. SENAMI PINSATS, steward and native of Portsmouth, Virginia, U.S., died on board the U.S. ship "Saratoga", 1852. Aged 24 years.

WILLIAM ELLIS, born in Perth, Scotland, 21st May, 1804. Died at Macao, 20th July, 1853.

EUPHEMIA ISABEL, only daughter of the late Charles BARTON, who died at Macao on the 11th Sept., 1853. Aged 20 years.

LIEUTENANT JOSEPH H. ADAMS, U.S. Navy, died on board U.S. steam frigate "Powhatan", October 4th, 1853. Aged 36 years.

ARTHUR WILLIAM, second son of George and Martha Urmson, of Canton, born 17th November, 1853. Died in March, 1854.

Mrs. ELIZABETH G. VROOMAN, wife of Rev. Daniel Vrooman of the A.C.F.M. Born in Akron, Ohio, June 14th, 1826. Arrived in China, March 6th, 1852. Died June 17th, 1854.

CHARLES WOODBERRY BECKERLY, Mass., U.S.A., died June 20th, 1854. Aged 37 years.

JOHN DUNNEN, seaman, U.S.A., a native of New York, who died on board the U.S. ship "Powhatan", June 20th, 1855. Aged 29 years.

WASHINGTON F. HICKMAN, seaman, who died on board the U.S. Steam Frigate "Powhatan", June 21st, A.D. 1855. Aged 32 years.

ABBY J. KERR, wife of John G. Kerr, M.D., of the Presbyterian Mission in Canton. Born in New Hampshire, May 13th, 1829, in China May 13th, 1854, died August 26th, 1855.

ELIZABETH LEWIS, wife of Thos. Haddon, died in September, 1856. Aged 28 years.

GEORGE A. DUNGAN, died 9th May, 1857. Aged 29 years.
