Citation

1. These rules may be cited as the Registration of Patents (Fees) Rules.

2. Fees

The fees specified in the Schedule shall be payable to the Registrar.

SCHEDULE

No. Item Fee 1. Certificate of registration of patent. $400 2. On application under section 10 of the Ordinance for entry in the register of any assignment, transmission or other instrument- if made within 6 months from the date of acquisition of proprietorship. $300 if made after the expiration of 6 months but within 12 months from the date of acquisition of proprietorship $300 if made after the expiration of 12 months from the date of acquisition of proprietorship $300 and where the application covers more than one patent, the assignment, transmission or instrument being the same in each case, for each additional patent after the first $20 3. Search of the register, for every 4 hour or part thereof $20 4. Office copy of entry in the register or of any document, for each page or portion of a page $4 5. Certifying office copy, or manuscript or photographic or printed matter $65 6. On application to change the name of a proprietor of a single patent where there has been no change in the proprietorship $100 7. On application to change the name of a proprietor or more than one patent standing in the same name, the change being the same in each case---- for the first patent $100 for every other patent $20
