[CAP. 60

(2) If the Director is satisfied that a person is engaged in the business of dealing in transhipment cargo he may exempt in writing, with respect to the transhipment of any of the items set out in the First and Second Schedules and specified in the exemption, that person from the licensing requirements under these regulations.

(3) The Director may impose such conditions as he thinks fit upon any exemption made under paragraph (2) and any person exempted under paragraph (2) shall comply with any condition imposed under this paragraph.

(4) If a person contravenes or fails to comply with any condition imposed under paragraph (3)—

(a) he shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine of $500,000 and to imprisonment for 2 years; and

(b) the Director may by notice in writing revoke or suspend any exemption granted to that person or may amend any condition.

7. The Director of Trade may, by order published in the Gazette, amend the First, Second and Third Schedules.
