(3) Any person who contravenes regulation 29(1) commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine of $10,000 and to imprisonment for 12 months, and to a further fine of $1,000 for every day during which the offence continues subsequent to the date of the conviction for the offence.

41. (1) The certificate referred to in section 22(1)(a) may be given by any person known both to the intending purchaser and the intending seller and shall be in the form prescribed in the Eighth Schedule.

(2) A certificate of registration issued under section 9 of the Ordinance shall be in the form prescribed in the Eighth Schedule.

(2A) The logo referred to in section 13A(1) shall be in the form prescribed in the Eighth Schedule.

(3) The particulars of sales of poisons which are required by section 22(3) to be entered in a book shall be entered in the form prescribed in the Eighth Schedule.

(4) The fees to be paid under the Ordinance and these regulations shall be those prescribed in the Ninth Schedule.

42. Where a person would, but for this regulation, be liable to a penalty for not holding a licence to manufacture pharmaceutical products, he shall not be so liable-

(a) until the expiry of a period of 3 months immediately following the commencement of these regulations; or

(b) where, before the expiry of that period, he applies for a licence, until-

(i) he obtains a licence; or

(ii) his application is refused.
