2. I, having interviewed the abovementioned parties in accordance with sections 17 and 18 of the Ordinance, hereby state that I am satisfied that-
二、本人已依照該條例第十七及第十八兩款之規定接見上述男女雙方,特此聲明本人確信
(a) the notice of intention to dissolve the marriage was given to me by the abovementioned parties under section 16(1) of the Ordinance and that no notice of changed intention under section 16(2) was given; and
(甲)該份擬解除婚姻通知書係由上述男女雙方根據該條例第十六款第(一)段送交本人者,而雙方並無依照第十六款第(二)段發出改變主意之通知;及
(b) the parties understand that the effect of dissolution is to put an end to the marriage so as to permit them to marry again should either of them so wish;
(乙)雙方均明瞭解除婚姻之意義為將婚姻結束,以便任何一方有此意向時均可再婚;
and
(c) the parties freely and voluntarily desire to dissolve the marriage.
(丙)雙方均係自願及自動將婚姻解除者。

(b) The parties are advised to note carefully the provisions of sections 19 and 20 of the Marriage Reform Ordinance which are reproduced overleaf.
(乙)男女雙方均須注意背頁所摘錄之修訂婚姻制度條例第十九及第二十兩款之規定。
