PART I
PRELIMINARY
1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Evidence Ordinance.

2. In this Ordinance, unless the context otherwise requires--
"bank" means any corporation, company, or society established by charter or under or by virtue of any Act of Parliament or Ordinance, lawfully carrying on the business of bankers, or any foreign banking company carrying on business in Hong Kong; (Amended, 9 of 1950, Schedule and 37 of 1984, s. 11)
"banker's record" includes-
(a) any document or record used in the ordinary business of a bank; and
