27. DUPLICATE OR COUNTERPART of any instrument chargeable with duty. (a) Where the duty on original instrument does not exceed $2, the same duty as on the original. Where the duty on the original exceeds $2, $2.

(a) The same duty as on a conveyance on sale for a consideration equal to the value of the property of the greater value.
