and default has been made in payment according to the said adjudication and order; and a warrant of distress has been issued against the defendant in pursuance of the said conviction, but no return has been made thereto; and the defendant has not given sufficient security, to the satisfaction of this court, for his appearance at the time and place appointed for the return of the said warrant: These are, therefore, to command you, the said police officers, to take the defendant and convey him to a prison, and there to deliver him to the said Commissioner together with this warrant; and you the said Commissioner, to receive the defendant into your custody in a prison and there to keep and detain him until the
