(Note: The Proclamation remains in force by virtue of section 5 of the Revised Edition of the Laws Ordinance, 1948, although omitted from the Revised Edition.)

The word "Governor" shall be substituted for the words "Governor in Council".
The first three lines and the first three words in line 4 shall be deleted and the following shall be substituted "upon the making of any such order".
"The following Articles, as Articles 4A and 4B, shall be inserted in the Proclamation after Article 4 thereof
Companies which complied with the Defence (China Companies Registered Office)
Article 4A. Where any China Company has transferred its registered office from a place within the limits of the China Order in Council, 1925, to some part of the dominions of His Majesty pursuant to the Defence (China Companies Temporary Transfer Registered Office) Regulations, 1941.
