This Ordinance may be cited as the Forgery

2. In this Ordinance-- "bank note" includes any note or bill of exchange of the

Bank of England or Bank of Ireland, or of any other person, body corporate or company carrying on the business of banking in any part of the world, and includes bank bill, bank post bill, blank bank note, blank bank bill of exchange and blank bank post bill. Currency notes issued by or on behalf of the Government of the United Kingdom or of any country outside the United Kingdom shall be deemed to be bank notes within the meaning of this Ordinance;

"currency notes" includes any notes (by whatever name called) which are legal tender in the country in which they are issued;

"die" includes any plate, type, tool, chop or implement whatsoever, and also any part of any die, plate, type, tool, chop or implement, and any stamp or impression thereof or any part of such stamp or impression; "document of title to goods" includes any bill of lading,

India warrant, dock warrant, godown warrant, warehouse keeper's certificate, warrant or order for the delivery or transfer of any goods or valuable thing, bought or sold note, or any other document used in the ordinary course of business as proof of the possession or control of goods, or authorizing or purporting to authorize either by indorsement or by delivery the possessor of such document to transfer or receive any goods thereby represented or therein mentioned or referred to;

"document of title to lands" includes any deed, map, roll,

register or instrument in writing being or containing evidence of the title or any part of the title to any
