FOOD SHOPS BY-LAWS.

(Cap. 140).

In these by-laws "public market" means a market which has been declared a market by any public authority, or which may hereafter be declared a market by the Council.

2. Except in a public market or under and in accordance with a licence granted by the Council, no person shall warehouse or store or sell or expose for sale any articles of food for man usually sold or exposed for sale in a public market within the following places, namely, the Island of Hong Kong, the Harbour, Kowloon and New Kowloon.

3. (1) Fees as hereunder set forth shall be paid for licences to sell food in premises outside a public market-

If the premises are situated in Pokfulam, Ap Lei Chau, Tytam or Shek O.

Beef and Mutton Licence

Pork Licence

Fish Licence

Poultry Licence

Fruit & Vegetable Licence

$30 per annum for each licence. If more than two licences are granted to the same person, the maximum fees payable by him shall be $60 per annum.

If the premises are situated elsewhere in the Colony.

Beef and Mutton Licence $240 per annum

Pork Licence $240 per annum

Fish Licence $240 per annum

Poultry Licence $240 per annum

Fruit & Vegetable Licence $80 per annum

If more than two licences are granted to the same person, the maximum fees payable by him shall be $480 per annum.
