44. In every factory the manufacturer shall to the Manufacturer's satisfaction of the Director keep, and daily make due entry of the particulars prescribed in, the following books—

(a) a stock book in Form 31 in the First Schedule; (b) a factory book in Form 32 in the First Schedule.

45. Every manufacturer shall weekly on Monday (or Returns. if Monday is a general holiday, on the next working day) deliver to the Director, to his satisfaction, a return in Form 33 in the First Schedule of all goods taken into or out of or manufactured in a factory.

48. Every factory where hydrocarbon oils are manufactured shall, without prejudice to the regulations in this Part, be deemed to be a licensed warehouse for the purpose of any regulations relating to the storage of dutiable goods.

B.—Breweries.

47. In the following regulations relating to breweries— Interpretation. "licensed premises" or "premises" means any premises whereon any person is licensed to keep a brewery and, where the context admits, includes any premises in connexion with the licensed premises or with the business conducted thereon;

"person in charge" includes the person for the time being having the control or management of the business conducted upon the licensed premises;

"storage vessel" means every vessel or receptacle intended to remain permanently on the licensed premises and used or intended to be used for the maturing or storing of beer brewed or made on the premises.

48. (1) The licensed premises shall be inclosed by Construction. walls or fences to the satisfaction of the Director and shall not have any entrance or exit except upon some street or road to which the public has access.

(2) On the outside of the door of each portion of the premises shall be painted in English and Chinese characters a description of that portion according to the purpose for which it is used and in accordance with the plans submitted on application for the licence.
