No. 15 of 1903. LIVE STOCK IMPORT AND EXPORT.

No. 15 of 1903.

An Ordinance for regulating the import and export of

cattle and other live stock.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Live Stock Import and Export Ordinance, 1903.

2. In this Ordinance,

(a) "Cattle" includes bulls, cows, oxen, heifers, calves, and buffaloes.

(b) "Live stock" includes sheep, swine, and poultry.

3. The Governor in Council may make regulations for controlling the import and export of cattle and other live stock.

4. Every act, failure, neglect, or omission whereby any requirement of any such regulations is contravened, and every refusal to comply with any such requirement, shall be deemed a contravention of this Ordinance.

5. Every person guilty of a contravention of this Ordinance shall upon summary conviction be liable to a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars.

6. Where such a contravention is committed by a company or corporation, the secretary or manager thereof shall be liable to be convicted.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Waterworks Ordinance, 1903.

2. In this Ordinance,

(a) "Excess consumption" means

(i) in the case of a tenement which is not rated, any quantity of water ascertained by meter as having been used in such tenement;
