(3) Subject to the provisions of this section, any company incorporated outside the Colony shall have power to acquire, hold and dispose of lands in the Colony as if it were a company incorporated under this Ordinance.

257. (1) If any company fails to pay the whole or any Penalty for part of any fine or penalty imposed by a magistrate under failure to this Ordinance within one month of the day on which the said fine or penalty was imposed, the Registrar of Companies shall publish in the Gazette and send to the company by post a notice that at the expiration of two months from the date of such notice the name of the company mentioned therein will, unless the said fine or penalty be sooner paid, be struck off the register and the company will be dissolved.
