or to the Registrar General; and the keeper of such common lodging-house shall cause the house to be vacated and shall allow the bedding, clothing, and other articles used by the infected person to be destroyed or disinfected and the house to be fumigated, disinfected, and lime-washed, at the public expense, in such manner as the Board may direct.
